Enter or a double-click opens the selected file with Windows, and opens a folder in the list.F3 views the selected file:- A text file opens read-only in the built-in editor. That includes source files,
.txt,.md,.json, and names such asMakefileandREADME. - An image the program can decode, such as PNG or JPEG, opens in the image viewer.
- Anything else is left to Windows.
F4 edits a text file in the built-in editor. It refuses a file that is not text.Both commands need a single selected file. They do nothing in the clipboard history.
